DART

DART (Double Asteroid Redirection Test) is a NASA mission to see whether impacting an asteroid with a spacecraft will change its trajectory. This is a very early-stage evaluation of whether and how we can change the trajectory of an asteroid on a collision course with Earth. The effect of the impact has been impressive.
